Nicolas De Keijser, Head of Sales for Boston Dynamics, joined IndustrialSage for his second trade show interview after joining us during Automate 2019. Boston Dynamics is a robotics company that is traditionally known for making government-commissioned robots (particularly the famously dog-like quadruped robot known as “Spot,”). However, they have recently transitioned into the commercial sector as well.

Their products, especially Pick (a machine-vision-based system intended for depalletizing), are primarily designed to assist in warehouse automation, construction, and logistics. What sets all of these devices apart? A heavy focus on deep-learning artificial intelligence.
