Cardinal Kinetic will introduce the innovative new InoDrive™ motion control system in booth #919 at Assembly 2021, being held October 26-28, 2021, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL.  InoDrive is an innovative, networked, all-in-one motion controller package built for modern engineers who require highly reliable, accurate, and precise control of servomotors. It combines all the capabilities of a servo amplifier, motion controller, and fully functional logic engine into a single, flexible, and powerful control unit.

InoDrive is powered by InoWorx™, a powerful web IDE, code-free platform that provides all the critical design elements needed to solve the most demanding motion applications. The InoDrive + InoWorx system allows users to program and control one or more brushless DC servomotors over an Ethernet network with the highest degree of accuracy and precision. The system utilizes a block building approach to programming, and is IIoT (MQTT) capable.

According to Mr. Dave Sellers, Director of Operation & Marketing at Cardinal Kinetic, “InoDrive, powered by InoWorx, eliminates the need for expensive servo control systems, weeks of training, external logic controllers, and costly software licenses requiring constant updates. Together, the system provides a new and modern approach to motion control with a simple and intuitive web IDE and an all-in-one hardware package.”

Each InoDrive module features a built-in web server for diagnostics and a full set of libraries such as Python, Javascript, and .net APIs. This modern approach gives users a robust set of tools to connect and communicate via PCs, SBCs, and other new-age cloud-based technologies.

Mr. Sellers added, “With InoDrive and InoWorx, the future of modern servo control and performance is now a reality. We designed a powerful solution that integrates critical motion control components into a single device while maximizing power, accuracy, ease of use, and reliability.”

InoWorx is a web IDE and features the InoWorx Programmer™ module powered by a block based graphical programming language (GPL).  It utilizes this revolutionary and intuitive approach to programming and controlling servos in virtually all applications. Users can develop and configure automation and motion control systems in a ladder-free, code-free environment. The platform is accessible from any browser, and InoDrive is smart enough to handle all the complicated algorithms and tasks as users build and assemble motion solutions. As a result, time is freed up, allowing a focus on high-value tasks and projects. Presented in the simplest and most intuitive manner, InoWorx offers powerful logic features and templates to configure motors, monitor run conditions, and coordinate motion amongst multiple servo axes.

According to Mr. Jim McNicholas, Business Development Manager at Cardinal Kinetic, “InoDrive and InoWorx are poised to transform the way businesses control motion. Our unique approach to programming in a web-based integrated environment is simple to use, easy to understand, and continuously updated, offering the developer a new level of freedom to focus on better-suited aspects of the motion system.”
