World of Concrete is the commercial construction industry’s first and largest annual global event that serves concrete and masonry experts. At World of Concrete 2020, Coretex announced its latest software. An international leader in fleet management solutions, Coretex’s CoreHub™ integrated IoT solution will improve supply chain operations with its users.
Dean Marris, Co-Founder and Executive Vice President of Coretex, had the following to say about CoreHub:
“We are excited to introduce our new CoreHub solution with real-time tracking and auto-statusing features. Now, key personnel can see at any given point in time how many concrete mixer trucks are ticketed, en route to a job, waiting on site, pouring, and traveling back to their plants. Our ‘truck area network’ technology utilizes self-installed wireless drum rotation and water add meter sensors to optimize fleet deliveries at an attractive price point for customers.”
Additional features about CoreHub include in-vehicle IoT hub, wireless sensors installed throughout the entire vehicle that collect and present information pertaining to the driver, load, and materials, and a full digital view of supply chain operations. Continuing with Coretex’s mission of developing cloud-based visualization software that takes rich data and turns it into automated business intelligence, CoreHub’s use of sensor data crafts a comprehensive “birth certificate” of concrete. This includes sensor data regarding the mix, water added at the job site and slump stand, and the time of pour. Similar to other supply chain tracking mechanisms, this certificate verifies and proves the time of delivery and that their requests were met.
Aside from CoreHub, Coretex is the provider of compliance and fleet management solutions to over 70,000 vehicles in various industries including construction, commercial freight, cold chain, waste, and recycling. Their cloud-based visualization program supports safe, green, and productive business outcomes through their process of turning rich data into automated business intelligence. While there are Coretex offices located throughout the United States and Australia, their world headquarters is located in Auckland, New Zealand.
