Manufacturers Continue To Prep Safety Stock & Dual Source Amid Supply Chain Challenges

Many companies are making manufacturing changes while dealing with COVID-19 effects on the supply chain. One company that has been actively finding more localized solutions is the Hytrol Conveyer Company.

We spoke with President David Peacock about their adjustments of safety stocks and adding additional American suppliers:

We are seeing more companies make similar pledges as the Coronavirus continues to disrupt the supply chain, to increase safety stocks and to shorten the supply chain with an increased cost.
