The multinational energy and automation company Schneider Electric has partnered with IndustrialSage to launch a new documentary series during the summer of 2022, entitled: “Industries of the Future.”

Each episode focuses on a different company in the industrial or supply chain space, and explores what they are doing within their businesses to bring about major technological advancements within their fields. With supply chain and automation at the forefront of today’s economic and financial challenges, Schneider is taking a moment to shine the spotlight on people and companies with uplifting missions worth believing in. Even though the video series is being spearheaded by a technology corporation, it’s centered around human stories.

The first episode is focused on the moral dilemma many engineers face, as they design automation and artificial intelligence programs that could theoretically be taking away jobs from human workers. The next episodes dive into the struggle of corporations who want to be sustainable and eco-friendly in their practices, but who often find the way obstructed by misinformation or financial roadblocks.

As experienced marketers within the B2B and manufacturing space, IndustrialSage has partnered with Schneider to bring these videos to life, because they believe in storytelling as the future of their own industry. In a market where most corporations aren’t sharing many personal anecdotes, this series is looking to change the game and connect with audience-members organically, by highlighting the real-life journeys and achievements of Schneider’s partners.

They also hope to ‘clean up’ the grimy reputation of the manufacturing and material handling industries, by revealing the multitude of advanced technologies that many of these companies are developing. According to IndustrialSage CEO Danny Gonzales, this show is, “a response to several issues going on in the manufacturing and industrial space,” and it has come out of a vision many years in the making.

“I’ve always wanted to do this,” he elaborated in an exclusive interview. “To be able to… really shine a light on what is happening in the manufacturing and industrial space. All the ‘sexiness’ that you’re seeing is coming out of Silicon Valley and all the tech companies, and the manufacturing industrial space just kind of gets left in the wind. There’s so much amazingness that’s happening right now, but the lens of the camera (so to speak) isn’t focused on that, because there’s this perception that [manufacturing] is grimy and it’s dirty and it’s dingy… and that couldn’t be further from the truth.

“There’s so much technology that is happening in the space right now,” he shared. “We’re going through an incredible digital transformation, and that needs to be shown.”

Episode One launched in Mid-June of 2022 on the IndustrialSage website, where viewers can subscribe to the series and watch the videos on the Industries of the Future channel. and according to many of its producers at IndustrialSage, it is by far their favorite project that they have ever created.
