Dee Maglio and Randy Randolph met us at the booth for SI Systems at Promat 2019 in Chicago for another interview! After meeting Dee last year at MODEX, we were eager to reunite. So what’s new with the makers of the world’s fastest picking machine?
SI Systems was founded over sixty years ago in Pennsylvania. Back then, catalogues were the latest ‘threat’ to brick-and-mortar stores. Now SI works in the latest disruptive evolution of that same field: eCommerce.
This year, in addition to the fast-picking Mobile-Matic dispenser, SI Systems was also exhibiting two new devices. One was a line of new AGV robots. The other was from their recent partnership with EffiMat Storage Technology.
The company has a library of blogs and video resources about each of their products. From rules of thumb to industry case studies to each product, prospects with any questions about their company will definitely find the answers they’re looking for. One thing’s for certain: the company is clearly growing. The booth for SI Systems at Promat was nearly double the size of last year’s MODEX booth. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for next year!
