Craig Malloy, CEO of Vecna Robotics, joined IndustrialSage on the floor at MODEX 2022 to share about the company’s autonomous mobile robots used for pallet transportation. In particular, Vecna was showcasing their new electric Co-Pallet Jack (or CPJ) which, once it mounts a pallet, can transport and deposit the load to its destination while the supervising worker continues with other jacks or other tasks involved in the loading or unloading process.
This can reduce an egregious amount of walking or manual driving that a worker might otherwise have to do, and a single worker with a fleet of CPJs could single-handedly clear an entire dock in far less time than ever before. This can make not only the lives of employees easier, but also increase productivity for their businesses.
