Stryten Energy LLC, a leading U.S. energy storage solutions provider, has announced the launch of new enterprise capabilities for the Monitor module within its inCOMMAND™ software. Formerly GNB Cloud, inCOMMAND is an energy performance management software tool designed to simplify the deployment of web-connected battery and charger solutions.
The enhanced Monitor module now enables users to remotely manage large-scale motive power systems, offering comprehensive visibility of battery health data organized by region or location. Dealers can efficiently manage rental and service customers from a single dashboard, while smart gateways with self-adaptive IoT technology automatically update battery locations for seamless tracking.
Matt Gould, Vice President of Sales and Service, Industrial, at Stryten Energy, emphasized the importance of having a smart solution to manage IoT at scale and optimize motive power assets across multiple distribution centers.
The upgraded Monitor module also tracks fleet energy usage, allowing customers to identify opportunities for optimizing performance and reducing costs across their corporate fleet. Dealers can benefit from new monetization opportunities, such as “Power by the Hour,” billing customers only for battery use instead of expensive monthly fees. Battery licenses are issued with a one-time payment, guaranteeing data access for multiple users throughout the battery’s lifespan.
Gould highlighted the 360-degree approach of Stryten Energy‘s inCOMMAND, stating that the Monitor module offers essential data to improve battery management across a dealer’s or customer’s motive power enterprise.
