Chris Elston, Chief Robotics Officer for YRG (also known as Yamaha Robotics Group), joined IndustrialSage on the floor at Automate 2022 to share about their LCMR 200 system, a linear conveyor for servo conveyor lines that has a repeatability factor of only 5 microns in variance and a weight capacity of up to 15kg. Because the pallets are designed with the resilience to resist horizontal forces up to 75lb and vertical pressures up to 200lb, activities can be completed without lifting or moving them. These LCMRs are employed for various applications by multiple companies, including Nissan’s battery cell production.

YRG is responsible for all North American sales and support for Yamaha Robotics in Japan.
