Milton Guerry, President of SCHUNK, joined IndustrialSage on the floor at Automate 2022 to share about their new Adheso end effector grippers. The grippers, which employ gecko technology (which relies upon the Van der Waals principle) and a small mechanical release, require zero energy to pick up a vast array of objects for fields like life sciences and semiconductors.
SCHUNK is a worldwide supplier of componentry, but their central focus at this particular trade show was on end effectors and linear slides.
